Im looking for a girl ... but not just any girl?

aight, so first lemme just say that im not looking to pick up girls on yahoo answers, but i'd like to meet some attractive looking girls (that are my age) + (be honest about looks, its not that im so shallow or anything, but its more interesting that way), because the ones at my school aren't cutting it.

it'd be cool to get some new emails of girls i can chat with. my email is: ciuby_jason@hotmail.com

second, please dont report the question!!! someone did last time, and its really annoying, cause im an honest person!!

about me:

- im 17

- athletic (very) = hockey!!

- Canadian!!! baby

- smart (very)

- not to tall 5 foot 6 range

- nice bod (if u'd be willing to exchange photos, facebooks, u'd see what i mean)

thats all u need to know for now!

Im looking for a girl ... but not just any girl?
You sound alot like my type and sound like a sweetheart...only thing is that i'm taller than you (5'7)

(You really should not be looking 4 girls on Yahoo....peace!)
Reply:Make a myspace account and meet people there. This isn't a place for it.
Reply:where is the question here?
Reply:i think you are looking toooo hard .
Reply:you sure as **** dont sound like someone who's "not trying to pick up girls on yahoo answers"

I'd say thats exactly what you're trying to do

also, how shallow are you? "the girls at my school aren't cutting it." might be news to you, but if you expect perfection from other people, they start to expect it from you.

and you sound far from perfect (not to mention a TINY bit desperate)
Reply:Do I know you? ahaha
Reply:hey nice title, (i used the same thing only it was foor guys.)

Why do blonde girls love me?

I have recently come from india, and everywhere I go, these blonde girls keep giving me their phone numbers, facebooks, or asking me to coffee. Even when I am with another girl, they will STILL approach/flirt/ask me......what should I do to avoid them?

Why do blonde girls love me?
Just dont worry much about them. Dont let something small turn into a big problem.
Reply:Fake blonds....are a dime a dozen.

Facebook or bebo?

i LOVE bebo - its so easy and all my mates have it

but now some people are making facebooks and i tried to but it is really bad compared to bebo. but if everyone turns to facebook then there will be no point in my bebo..

should i keep with bebo or try facebook?

Facebook or bebo?
Have a profile on both I suppose.

Mind you I agree with you - Facebook is rubbish.
Reply:Have profiles on both! You can't go wrong.
Reply:I had the same problem as you. A few years ago, everyone I know was on Piczo, I know that's not a social networking site but everyone used to use it as one. Then everyone moved to Bebo, then Myspace and now Facebook. I now have accounts with all of them because now people are everywhere. So I know what you mean, I personally prefer Bebo as it's so much easier to use and you don't have to worry about html codes and everything, but if everyone is switching to Facebook, it's pointless to just go on Bebo. Have an account on each so you can still keep in touch with everyone.

Good Luck

I bet soon your friends are going to ve moving to MySpace or something next. There's always a new social networking craze

please answer my quesiton: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...
Reply:I've heard Facebook is a lot cleaner than Myspace, for example.
Reply:BEBO!!

FACEBOOK SUCK!

xD
Reply:FACEBOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Reply:You could use both! I prefer Facebook! =)

Freshman vs. Junior high school love?

so i'm a freshman in high school, i'm 14. this guy from a different school, just 15 mins away from mine, has been rumored to like me. he's a junior and 16 years old. we met at a superbowl party a couple of weeks ago, exchanged numbers, sns, myspace urls, and facebooks and have talked about at the least 5 times already. so since everyone's into the sentimental feeling of valentine's, yesterday, he called me and told me that he liked me [forreal] but wasn't ready to ask me out yet, since as he put it, "i'm really concerned about my APs right now and college stuff, and ill do some other stuff when the time is right."

basically, he meant he was afraid of commitment, or he's just self-centered.

what do you percieve this as? my friend says that "it takes a real man to do that."

Help, :\

Freshman vs. Junior high school love?
No, it doesn't mean that he's not committed or self-centered. He just doesn't have time for a relationship right now, which is okay. Trust me, I've been in his situation before, and it's tough!

Just wait until summertime, if he likes you, then he won't mind waiting till summer. :)

I don't think he's too old.

He just doesn't want to take the chance of spending less time with homework to be with a girlfriend. That could mess up his whole career. He's being smart.
Reply:if he feels its too early, then either wait for him or just move on
Reply:Hm, I do not think he is too old for you. And you won't really know if he is self-centered or afraid of commitment until you get to know him. Give him a shot but don't be too clingy. Be flirtatious! Talking to someone new can be so exciting, but don't be too bummed if it doesn't work out the way you planned.

Hope I helped :)
Reply:If you're looking to just hook up with somebody, go for it...but you're right, it IS too early to start a relationship.

And also, he's not self-centered, he's being very smart and putting his studies before you
Reply:I don't think that you are to young for him at all. My best friend is 14 and dating a 18 year old. But he is really religous and listens to a lot of Christain music. So is the type that wants to wait to do it when he gets married. But if the boy that you like is one of those that want to do it than maybe you should go for someone your own age. Sorry to tell you that. I mean your not to young for a relationship but you know for sex than maybe you should wait. Hope that my advice helped you out! Good Luck!!!

-Courtney-
Reply:He's not too old for you at all. He's too old to call a girl up to tell her he likes her, but isn't ready to ask her out yet. He should've just kept it to himself if nothing is going to happen.
Reply:First, he is not too old but you both are still too young. Let's take it slow be friend first and see what happen. He likes you and therefore he said so. Trust his words and wait.

Hope you have a happy day.
Reply:Nah, if you trust him, then the age difference shouldn't matter. He just probably is really shy, and since Valentines is the most romantic holiday (duh) he chose to break the ice then. It just means that he wanted to tell - he just wasn't ready for the real deal. ;)
Reply:You are 14? He is 16? Seriously, you just kids. I don't want to sound bogus or anything, but what he did shows how mature he is. It shows that he has priorities. If there is love between the two of you, you will wait for him and vise versa. You are too young to think about relationships.

Your barely in high school, and then afterwards, maybe college is on the way. First you have to focus on what you'll do for the rest of your life in terms of a career, and then you will be able to focus on love. Trust me, i like this girl and we have decided to postpone dating and all the other stuff until we are mature enough to stand on our own feet, without the help of anybody.
Reply:Uhh... i think he's playing hard to get. If i were you, i'd say yeah... me too.. i gotta worry about my honor classes or something like that. 14 yr old and 16yr old aren't that bad. Just know what you are getting yourself into and don't get ahead of yourself. Oh yeah, and don't think this is IT, this is the guy i'm going to marry.
Reply:What he meant was; he likes you, but doesn't have the time for a girlfriend right now.

To be so serious about someone when you're so young can really distract you from everything else in your life, and it also distracts you from getting experience and getting to know other people. It's OK if you two date one day soon...just try not to get so serious.
Reply:i dont think hes too old for u my boyfriend is 3 years older them me but just wait till its time
Reply:I think your age shouldt start dating cause all you do is break up after 2 weeks. Start dating in college where you know the full meaning of I love you is
Reply:He's not too early but it is probably too early. you should just go out on dates to get to know each other. and he probably really does have to focus on school. that's actually a good things.

Hacking Facebook?

Alright, so my best friend and his girlfriend recently broke up. They exchanged passwords for their facebooks and emails, and she changed her facebook password after the breakup but he can still access her email. Turns out, she might be cheating on him with another one of my friends...its gotten really dirty, and we need to get to the bottom of it.

So, we already have access to her email account...is there any way to check what messages she sent? To see what the "it" is that the guy she might be cheating with was talking about?

Hacking Facebook?
If you're asking, there's probably no hope for you actually doing it. This is more than possible, you'll just never know.

Reply:You might check her 'sent' box. Maybe she doesn't delete her mail she sent.

Does Yahoo care at all about what us 360 users think? Do we have any kind of say at all in it's destiny?

Many of us have made some great friends on 360. We don't want to lose that. We don't want to have to transfer blogs, comments etc. We like the simplicity that yahoo 360 offers. It seems to me it would be much more cost effective if Yahoo would just listen to us rather than try and keep up with the myspaces, facebooks etc.

I have tried to answer the random surveys that yahoo pops up on my screen, but they always seem to be lacking in some important questions and often cut out part way through.

I hope that everyone knows about the petition that we are circulating.

I urge you and all your friends to please read and sign our onling petition to save 360! We have strength in numbers!

Does Yahoo care at all about what us 360 users think? Do we have any kind of say at all in it's destiny?
i totally agree with everything said above

its a tragidy that yet again yahoo would rather mess up than listen (who can forget the yahoo user rooms that actively suppoerted paedofiles? and by the way yahell fetish rooms 11 through 15 are their new trading post!!)

nina? not sure what you link goes to (yes i will look) but please direct your friends to

http://www.petitiononline.com/keep360/pe...

almost 4000 yahoo 360 votes there already.

i realise that it is not good buisiness to back track but in this case i think yahoo needs to tread very carefully, yahoo already owns BT (few seem to actually KNOW this) and many of BTs uk customers also have 360, perhaps we should hit yahoo a lil harder in the purse?

do i actually believe anyone of any concequence from yahoo actually pays attention to these pages or to ANYthing we, its customers, actually WANT? sadly no but that wont stop me trying

great question my friend, thankyou
Reply:I'm totally there...

It seems yahoo wants to give up on 360. A lot of us on 360 are signing a petition to have yahoo save 360. here is the link pass it on to all your friends. Please read the petition discription.

Is this weird or is it just me?

So I meet this guy who oddly enough my friend knows and he is also her ex-boyfriends really good friends. Well she introduces him to me but I'm over it after that seeing as how I was highly intoxicated. Funny thing is he facebooks me, aim's, and then texts me which is cool b/c he seemed chill. Problem came when I asked him to be a "cuddle buddy" came over was actually ok didn't try anything really. Next thing I know I'm getting text and calls talking about kickin' it and chillin' which I'm down for but then I was surprised to find that ten hours later I get a rude insulting aim saying that he just wanted screw me and that I'm not his type b/c I'm too skinny...and then three hours after that I get defriended on facebook and then a text saying don't text me..The irony in this whole situation is that I heard this may be his ex-girlfriend doing this but still WTF?

Is this weird or is it just me?
I would'nt worry too much about this because it happens all the time but his ex was most likely texting you so wait and talk to him in person or call him when oyu know he is at home alone that why he can explain what happened. well good luck and i hope you beat his ex's a**...lol...
Reply:omg that sounds like what happened to me.. just leave him to burn! he's just a player looking for a screw over!!!... when he's a no-one he'll prob come crawling back but you can be just like 'uh..and you're who?!'
Reply:stay away from him. If it was the ex girlfriend don't you think he would of hit you up regardless... I mean being that if it is the ex girl he wouldn't know she did this right?

But either way you don't want the drama. leave it where it is and find a better "cuddle buddy"
Reply:It probably is the ex doing this jealousy is obviously eating her up!

I would confront her the next time you see her and just say was that you who left me a message on facebook if she has querie why and if she says ee no shes not really going to say it was her anyways is she ,

I would Also confront him aswell just ask whats going on

spinless people who need to put messages on facebook are not worth knowing!

Can I sue Facebook for the emotional stress my son is going through due to an embarassing fake profile?

LET ME GET THIS OUT FIRST. MY SON DOES NOT HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. I DON'T WANT MONEY UNLESS THAT FORCES FACEBOOK TO DO THE RIGHT THING.

Someone other than my son, was allowed by Facebook to create an ID that basically caused my son to be extremely hurt. They then proceeded to link to friends and people that know him to further. Whether this was a simple prank or not, to put up a sight that indicates that my 13yr old is gay and that seeks to demean him in front of his friends and others that may or may not know him is very damaging to a young teen. This may even have been done by someone that he assumes is his friend..it may not. The school is helping, but I don't want my son to end up like the Meier's daughter.

http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition...

I AM NOT PRIVY OR BOUND BY FACEBOOKS TERMS OF USE AS I AM NOT A MEMBER OF FACEBOOK...what do you think?

Can I sue Facebook for the emotional stress my son is going through due to an embarassing fake profile?
I think you should teach your child that life is not fair. Get over it and go on with life.
Reply:I believe you have to prove some kind of monetary loss as part of touting your suffering as a valid means of getting a hearing.

If this is something he can shrug off and keep moving forward, then just let some time pass and it'll resolve itself. If this is making him stress to the point he evades school, loses clumps of hair, starts crying frequently, then you need to take him to a counselor outside of school that can document his case. Paperwork always stands up in court.

But read the Terms Of Service Facebook offers. There could be a loophole you can use to your advantage. Myspace says you can't falsify any info or use it to harass anyone and that they will comply with legal enforcement in such cases. Maybe Facebook is willing to comply and give up the IP Address of the anonymous person who executed this fake profile with your son's picture.

In any case, you can file a harassment suit or maybe take it further with a restraining order, but teenagers really don't want that kind of embarrassment, attention, or worse,

violent retribution.

Ask your son how he sees the situation being handled. If he asks for your help then you both agree to do whatever necessary to get through this, even changing schools. That being said, he's old enough now that he's gotta take charge of the situation involving his social life, and mommy/daddy can't step in for every infraction anymore.(no offense) Taking charge is a vital part of his evolution into manhood.
Reply:Your son signed up %26amp; most likely checked a box explaining they are not liable for things like this. It is a public site like myspace %26amp; Facebook does not know who are the "winners or losers" on the site. You could try contactacting their customer service complaints, but it's doughtful they will even contact you back over this minor issue. Tell him to get over it already...it's just a stupid website that no one made him join!
Reply:Doubt it... but you probably could get the kids for libel or slander
Reply:I would first get an attorney, it seems to be slander, and also character. I would also get a hold of a cyber detective. To find out where its coming from. This is very sad. I would also consider taking my son to a new school for a fresh start, if its possible. Kids today are so mean and inconsiderate. I feel for your family. What a shame.

Are You A Facebook Creeper?

Be honest, okay? =)

Do you keep tabs your friends wall convos with ppl on facebook who you don't know? Do you randomly search facebook profiles? Do you surf through random ppl's photos or friendslist/music/wall graffiti etc.? Are you stalking someone on facebook as we speak?

I just want to know: Are you a facebook creeper/lurker? If yes, why? What do you want to come across during your creeping?? And what's the most interesting/weird/funny thing you've seen while creeping around on ppl's facebooks?

p.s. I'm bored and this question is all in good fun so...have fun with it! Amuse me!! %26gt;D

Nope, pretty exciting eh.

I have facebook, but i'm really getting sick of all those freakin app things. you cant check something out on someones profile without having to add something your self... stupid sellouts... lol
Reply:I only read my friends walls...

I love my facebook.
Reply:When I'm really bored I look through random people's Myspaces, especially people from my old school. I found out this girl from my grade has a baby now. And I'll admit it, I once read my friend's conversation with this guy back and forth (through their comments to each other). They didn't say anything interesting. So did a couple of my other friends, they told me. But other than that, I'm not a creeper.
Reply:No, I'm no.t

Why was my question about Facebook's privacy policy deleted?

"Why does Facebook reserve the right to collect information about you form the internet?

In Facebook - Asked by Dan H - 2 answers - 6 months ago- (Question has been removed)"

The part of Facebooks' privacy policy I was referring to says:

"We may use information about you that we collect from other sources, including but not limited to newspapers and Internet sources such as blogs, instant messaging services, Facebook Platform developers and other users of Facebook, to supplement your profile." (http://www.facebook.com/policy.php)

I didn't get a chance to appeal. It just seems a bit strange.

Why was my question about Facebook's privacy policy deleted?
Because they are watching you my friend. They are watching all of us. Tread carefully!

go to http://www.i-am-bored.com/ fun stuff or watch videos on youtube. Or maybe go outside and get some fresh air, you might just need to take a break from the computer for a while and get back in touch with reality. People can really lose themselves in cyberspace

good luck
Reply:well we musnt forget what the internet was originally created for...free porn haha
Reply:Check out the differant chat rooms.Quite a few are community and are watched closely to avoid problems. also, I look up games thru the "search' engines and find alot of "single"vgames listed
Reply:you could use the computer to study and look up information,

yeah i think that would be much more betterer.
Reply:You could try researching your Family Tree.....careful though it's very addictive!! xXx

Looking for a man from Ontario who would be between 27-30? Not for dateing, Read for more details.?
All you can do for now is contact Children's aid and apply to find what you want and if possible they will keep in touch with you after the request has been forwarded to the person if he she wants to meet or not. The laws have changed with CAS and 100% you will get what you want.

This is what my wife did with my help to find her 37 yrs adopted daughter and BINGO we had a reply and I met my stepdaughter and she found her child.
Reply:Sorry dear, I have no idea about this sites..may be you can try yahoo people search.....I know it works for people living in America but Canada I'm not sure...good luck.

Why did my girlfriend facebook me?

about 5years ago i meet my first love and we was together for only a year but in that year we went tho alot i was 21 years old and she was 17. We really broke up in a bad way and her family never want to talk to me again and i upset her younger sister and she allso upset my family. I hurt her and she hurt me. She then moved to the usa with her family and we did't talk i thought that was it i'll never hear from her again then 5 years later she facebooks me and asks me to be her friend. i sent her a e-mail saying hi and then we started talking about me and her and the past and what happend and she told me she still wonders what it would be like if we stayed together. And she is up for meeting and we still talk like mates. Do you think she still likes me?

Why did my girlfriend facebook me?
its been five years, people grow and get over the drama of things from the past. i am friends with my ex's, even if it was a bad brake... things take time. i wouldnt even worry yourself about if she wants to get with u, take it slow, and be happy, u gained a friend u thought u lost for good... and if something more happens, and your both happy... than congrats!
Reply:She does not have other job.
Reply:time will tell.
Reply:No. She probably just feels some remorse for breaking up with you and can't help but wonder what could have been.
Reply:yea i agree with swammie
Reply:Yep, same as you still like her.

But the moment has gone.

Leave it, put it down to experiance.

Facebook/email websites, wont work on my computer?

I try to visit/go to facebooks website and it doesnt load, it says its loading but never does. Also yahoo, aol mail page doesnt work either, it says "internet explorer cannot display the page" how can i fix this so i can check my email and facebook? Please please help if you can!!!

p.s. my computer is vista....so idk...also i know i have firewall and a phishing filter on my computer for security and such. Is there anyway i can get past it to visit my email and facebook?

Facebook/email websites, wont work on my computer?
Try going to MakeMeANinja.com and see if Facebook works from there. If it does then it may be that your Internet has a filter on it for some reason.

If it doesn't work there, then you may have a virus, and should use a free virus scan tool I like the one from Panda I Linked to below

How do you tell a 'friend with benefits' that you want to 'downgrade' to being 'regular' friends

I have this friend and we used to hook up every so often. Maybe about 5 times. It was heavy petting but no actual sex. I am not into that anymore and only want to be physical if I am in a relationship but I am not sure how to tell this guy.

He is sweet and really funny and we are actually in different countries now but he still emails and facebooks every now and then. There is a chance I will be seeing him in a few weeks as he will be in the country BUT I do not know how to let him know it will not be 'business as usual'

What do I do? It would be a bit of a tease to tell him when we are together wouldn't it but then again it would be kinda retarded to send an email saying 'by the way, we are not friends with benefits any more.

How do you tell a 'friend with benefits' that you want to 'downgrade' to being 'regular' friends
If he is going to be just a friend then tell him. Let him know before he gets there that you are in a relationship, (if you are) that is exclusive, but that you and he are still friends. He will understand. If not, mabe it is time to move on.
Reply:move on hun
Reply:um just don't let things get to that...

he'll get it if he sees you not flirt or grab for him first.

also you can arrange to meet someplace that grabbing and messing around would not be appropriate.... avoid the movies and empty parks. also long car rides and possible waiting for whatever.
Reply:Say it the way it is: Going forward, intimate contact will be for commited relationships only. Think about it...it's got to stop at some point.
Reply:You should jus talk to him about you the way feel about bein' "friends with benefits".Let him know that your not ready to do that.Hopefully he will understand.
Reply:u have to find a way to tell him. i think face to face is a good choice even though u seem not to think so, but in any case if u have something to say to someone u should always try to say it to their face.
Reply:just tell'em dats how they just friends wit Benefits stop doing stuff with'em also no matter wat n let them kno ya jus friends
Reply:ummm say hey dude, i am not into the benefits part anymore, hope we can still be friends.

What do you think about facebook?

Facebook can be nice, you can keep in touch with friends while you are away at college, etc. But I feel like it's not always as simple as it should be. Does anyone else feel like people manipulate certain information(relationship especially) and prune their facebooks(picture especially)? It's kind of like advertising yourself.

What do you think about facebook?
SOCIAL not working site, Facebook will allow users to opt out of its spying feature.

Users were incandescent with rage after the outfit introduced the 'Facebook Beacon feature' which monitored which sites users visited and told all their friends.

Writing in his blog , Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that he got it completely wrong about the feature and would be allowing users to switch it off.

He said that Facebook reacted too slowly to complaints about Beacon and made a ham-fisted PR effort.

Zuckerberg said he was not proud of the way Facebook handled the situation, including how it dealt with a 50,000 strong petition against feature.

He said that there was nothing sinister about Beacon. Facebook had designed to be so lightweight that users did not have to touch it.

Zuckerberg said it should have defaulted to opt-out instead of opt-in. If someone forgot to decline to share something, Beacon still went ahead and shared it with their friends.
Reply:It's a simple waste of time for simple minded people
Reply:Ya i agree with you its good no great cause you can keep in touch will people but i think people do manipulate it and i guess some people become what their not. Ah i guess its bound to happen with online friendship networks.

Does he like me?

there is this guy at school who is one year older than me. lets call him mark. mark and i have the same birthday also!! i met him last year at his lunch table and liked him then too. i stopped liking him last year when our mutual friend (brian) told me that mark thougt i was annoying.

Now, a year older (and omg ive changed a lot..) im at mark's table again and once again, i like him. i asked him about saying i was annoying, and he got all mad and said he never said that.

we have posted on each other's facebooks a couple times about an inside joke, and brian now thinks that mark likes me based on the way he writes on my facebook, and the stories ive told him about our lunch time topics.

at the lunch table, mark and i talk about how last year me and brian almost started going out, and everyone thought we were but i "dumped" him. (brian and i arent that close anymore, he is closer to mark since they are both editors on our school paper.) we sit next to each other also.

Does he like me?
well you can always take his msn or yahoo or cellnumber .. im sorry i dont know anything else .. pretty hard story lol :P plz answer my question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

I am sure you are having a sweet dreaming.
Reply:Hey - who hasn't got that problem, right?

Have you tried carrying around a fly swatter?
Reply:WAKE UP your having a dream
Reply:I am blond and I sorry if I bust your bubble, but I do not love you. In the USA it is difficult to find a community/city/town that does not have a wide diverse make-up of people with origins from different parts of the globe, I don't think you can really avoid people based upon their hair color, unless you want to go back to India.

By the way, why did you use this section to ask the question? it really should be asked in the single and dating section.
Reply:Here's a thought...don't avoid them!! Try to get at 'em. What's the matter with you??
Reply:Blonde girls aren't too clever
Reply:You could always tell them, shoo flies don't bother me *grins*

You should be flattered, but your frustration is obvious, so I guess it's best to just try and ignore them.

You never know, they might get the point, eventually.
