so i'm a freshman in high school, i'm 14. this guy from a different school, just 15 mins away from mine, has been rumored to like me. he's a junior and 16 years old. we met at a superbowl party a couple of weeks ago, exchanged numbers, sns, myspace urls, and facebooks and have talked about at the least 5 times already. so since everyone's into the sentimental feeling of valentine's, yesterday, he called me and told me that he liked me [forreal] but wasn't ready to ask me out yet, since as he put it, "i'm really concerned about my APs right now and college stuff, and ill do some other stuff when the time is right."
basically, he meant he was afraid of commitment, or he's just self-centered.
what do you percieve this as? my friend says that "it takes a real man to do that."

Hacking Facebook?
Alright, so my best friend and his girlfriend recently broke up. They exchanged passwords for their facebooks and emails, and she changed her facebook password after the breakup but he can still access her email. Turns out, she might be cheating on him with another one of my friends...its gotten really dirty, and we need to get to the bottom of it.
So, we already have access to her email account...is there any way to check what messages she sent? To see what the "it" is that the guy she might be cheating with was talking about?

Many of us have made some great friends on 360. We don't want to lose that. We don't want to have to transfer blogs, comments etc. We like the simplicity that yahoo 360 offers. It seems to me it would be much more cost effective if Yahoo would just listen to us rather than try and keep up with the myspaces, facebooks etc.
I have tried to answer the random surveys that yahoo pops up on my screen, but they always seem to be lacking in some important questions and often cut out part way through.

So I meet this guy who oddly enough my friend knows and he is also her ex-boyfriends really good friends. Well she introduces him to me but I'm over it after that seeing as how I was highly intoxicated. Funny thing is he facebooks me, aim's, and then texts me which is cool b/c he seemed chill. Problem came when I asked him to be a "cuddle buddy" came over was actually ok didn't try anything really. Next thing I know I'm getting text and calls talking about kickin' it and chillin' which I'm down for but then I was surprised to find that ten hours later I get a rude insulting aim saying that he just wanted screw me and that I'm not his type b/c I'm too skinny...and then three hours after that I get defriended on facebook and then a text saying don't text me..The irony in this whole situation is that I heard this may be his ex-girlfriend doing this but still WTF?

Whether this was a simple prank or not, to put up a sight that indicates that my 13yr old is gay and that seeks to demean him in front of his friends and others that may or may not know him is very damaging to a young teen. This may even have been done by someone that he assumes is his friend..it may not. The school is helping, but I don't want my son to end up like the Meier's daughter.

If this is something he can shrug off and keep moving forward, then just let some time pass and it'll resolve itself. If this is making him stress to the point he evades school, loses clumps of hair, starts crying frequently, then you need to take him to a counselor outside of school that can document his case. Paperwork always stands up in court.
But read the Terms Of Service Facebook offers. There could be a loophole you can use to your advantage. Myspace says you can't falsify any info or use it to harass anyone and that they will comply with legal enforcement in such cases. Maybe Facebook is willing to comply and give up the IP Address of the anonymous person who executed this fake profile with your son's picture.
In any case, you can file a harassment suit or maybe take it further with a restraining order, but teenagers really don't want that kind of embarrassment, attention, or worse,
violent retribution.
Ask your son how he sees the situation being handled. If he asks for your help then you both agree to do whatever necessary to get through this, even changing schools. That being said, he's old enough now that he's gotta take charge of the situation involving his social life, and mommy/daddy can't step in for every infraction anymore.(no offense) Taking charge is a vital part of his evolution into manhood.

If this is making him stress to the point he evades school, loses clumps of hair, starts crying frequently, then you need to take him to a counselor outside of school that can document his case. Paperwork always stands up in court.
But read the Terms Of Service Facebook offers. There could be a loophole you can use to your advantage. Myspace says you can't falsify any info or use it to harass anyone and that they will comply with legal enforcement in such cases. Maybe Facebook is willing to comply and give up the IP Address of the anonymous person who executed this fake profile with your son's picture.
In any case, you can file a harassment suit or maybe take it further with a restraining order, but teenagers really don't want that kind of embarrassment, attention, or worse,
violent retribution.
Ask your son how he sees the situation being handled. If he asks for your help then you both agree to do whatever necessary to get through this, even changing schools. That being said, he's old enough now that he's gotta take charge of the situation involving his social life, and mommy/daddy can't step in for every infraction anymore.(no offense) Taking charge is a vital part of his evolution into manhood.

It is a public site like myspace %26amp; Facebook does not know who are the "winners or losers" on the site. You could try contactacting their customer service complaints, but it's doughtful they will even contact you back over this minor issue. No proxies work on my computer?
everytime i use new proxies or any proxies i still cant access facebooks website on my computer. the problem isnt having new or updating proxies, everytime i use one it comes up with an error message that has something to do with a "host" and internet connection.

Facebook/email websites, wont work on my computer?
I try to visit/go to facebooks website and it doesnt load, it says its loading but never does. Also yahoo, aol mail page doesnt work either, it says "internet explorer cannot display the page" how can i fix this so i can check my email and facebook? Please please help if you can!!!

I have this friend and we used to hook up every so often. Maybe about 5 times. It was heavy petting but no actual sex. I am not into that anymore and only want to be physical if I am in a relationship but I am not sure how to tell this guy.

A friend at works' daughter asked me to be her myspace friend, I never met her, she is 15, female like me,so I didn't want to but thought if I don't accept her invitation her mum would think I was rude, so thought I may as well, just to keep the peace. If it was me I would totally ignore it and if anyone at work does ask, just reply nonchalontly that you'd heard that from someone else, but that it was'nt true, then ask calmly why you would want to stalk a 15 year old girl? If it was me I would totally ignore it and if anyone at work does ask, just reply nonchalontly that you'd heard that from someone else, but that it was'nt true, then ask calmly why you would want to stalk a 15 year old girl? How can i get a shy guy to talk?

okay so I took this class with this guy a while ago and I always see him looking at me in the halls. Before he had a gf and had one til about a month ago. I thought he might like me but I was thinking if he did he might add me on facebook, but he hasnt yet. I thought maybe he was shy. Ok....I really need some opinions on this. First off. I am 25 and in grad school. I work part time as a tutor and recently at a tutoring meeting (one of these things where we all get together and talk about how our sessions are going) I saw one of my coworkers I had never met before and I was extermly attracted to her. I talked to her a bit and she seemed really cool. Anyway after the meeting I couldn't stop thinking about her so...I looked into our old email listserve and found her name and looked her up on facebooks. Ok..so..I find out shes younger than me but has a lot of my interests.The question is..should I add her? I hardly ever see her but have kind of a crush on her. The thing is should I add her or would it look like I am a stalker? I want to ask her out but I never see her and I think facebook could give us something to talk about..so..yeah..what should I do?

So I met this girl at this party and she goes to a different college than me. We talked amongst mutual friends and blah blah blah. I joke that I will facebook her the next day. I'm Larry, currently in 6th grade. My middle school has a gym period with grades 6-8. I wear a set of shorts underneath my pants. I accidently took off both at once, but only one kid so me in my TW and though he stared, he didn't say anything so w/e. The next day some 8th graders were staying longer than usual and probably tipped off. i took off my shirt to change and when i couldnt see, they pantsed me and grabbed off my shirt, revealing my tighty whities. 5 kids grabbed me and took me to the girls locker room where the girls suspended me by my tighty whities on this board with a hook. The girls took phones out of their lockers and took pics and vids of me. I yelled, Get me down, so they took off my underwear and got me down. Since im in 6th grade, I have a 1.5 inch penis. Help! I find myself obsessed!?
Ok so for most of my life I've always gone for the type of guy that is a straight up jerk, I think mostly because that's the way I was treated by my dad. So when I do like I guy I can't help to be completely obsessed no matter how much they are mean to me or ignore me. I guess it's been my way of trying to get to know my dad through other people. I find myself always looking at their Myspace/Facebook (1 guy a year+ like 2-3 times a week) and I still get no where. Looking at their Facebooks/Myspace has been my way of getting to know my dad (even though my dad pays my cell phone bill and lives 15 minutes away, he still won't talk to me). I try to visit/go to facebooks website and it doesnt load, it says its loading but never does. Also yahoo, aol mail page doesnt work either, it says "internet explorer cannot display the page" how can i fix this so i can check my email and facebook? Please please help if you can!!!

Also if your antivirus engine is more than a 6 to 9 months old temporarily disable and restart the system. If the problem resolves enable the softwares one after the other to determine the conflict.

I walked up randomly to 3 girls that I went to high school with that I really like and that know a lot of people that I really like as well

We all want a perfect equal circle of friends but everyone in that circle has to want it to make it happen. Expand out to other circles and people and maybe expand that one circle. It would take your energy and time to something more positive and more rewarding. If they wanna join your circle then so be it if they dont then oh well you can still be friends with them no matter what.

Myspace, Yahoo, Facebook...whenever i try to log in to anything... my computer goes to the screen that says "Cannot find server"...the only way for me to get into anything is through...the IM applications of those sights...or in facebooks case...saying i forgot my password...but now i've reached my limit of forgotten passwords...and my im's arent' working... what do i do???

Granted I am not saying there should be no rules. But when I hear tha parents proudly monitor myspaces, facebooks, phonecalls, aim messages, etc. Or restrict shows like family guy from their children it makes me glad my parents were NEVER like that. "Family Guy" is an example of TRASH TV, just like " Married...with children" was a decade or so ago. Have you ever really listened to how the characters on that show talk? Every second word is either profane or sexually explicit in some way. If you were a parent with young children at home, would YOU want them to be exposed to that kind of language? I wouldn't- and I know that my sister and brother, who both have kids, wouldn't either. That's why my nephews are NOT allowed to watch or listen to such garbage. Obviously, my brother and sister are smart enough to realize that exposing their kids to that crap is going to do them no good, and it could lead to behavior and discipline problems down the road, as the boys might try to act out or imitate what they see or hear on TV.
I am glad I am an adult, yes, but I WASN'T raised with computers,ipods, or Myspace and Facebook either- mainly because when I was growing up, they DIDN'T EXIST YET. Just because I was raised in the 70's and 80's, before the invention of the internet and the web, and of cell phones, ipods, blackberries, digital video games, DVD's, and the like, DOESN'T mean I am naive or an IDIOT. I have seen a lot more of history than you have, Amy, because I have been ALIVE a lot longer. Were you ALIVE when Armstrong landed on the moon? I WAS- I was 6 years old, in fact. I remember watching the moon landing on television in the gym at the local school, because my mother wouldn't allow television in the house until I was 9 years old !!! My lack of early exposure to TV didn't hurt me a bit- I am a stronger person because of it. I never even SAW a computer until I was in high school- and at that time, the only people allowed to use the computers there were seniors and kids who were going to study computer programming in college. Did that make me naive? HARDLY !! The most popular "toy" for teens when I was growing up was the Walkman- it was like today's ipods are. Every teenager had to have one- it was considered gauche not to. And here you are, less than 20 years later, proclaiming that anyone whose parents cared enough about their safety to restrict their computer and phone use is a naive idiot. Well, you have LOT TO LEARN about life and about the world yourself, Amy.

Teaching is something I aim to do with my children, but I have every right to check things out if my children are acting strange.
Your behavior shows that you aren't really a mature adult yet. Being over 18 does not warrant those types of things. It's just really none of your business how the rest of us parent our children. I'm sure my kids will not be naive idiots and who are you to say that those of us who are willing to take an extra step in caring for our children will raise naive idiots. A double check every now and then is not wrong. And a 10 year old watching family guy is. Maybe at 15 they can understand, but until they can show some understanding for certain types of things, tv and internet needs to be monitored. When you have kids, maybe then you will understand. Facebook Hacked?
I was watching the news [about 5 minutes ago] and a computer tech was easly able to hack peoples Facebook profiles using "tags". He had hacked Paris Hiltons profile and the Facebooks owners profile. Gaining simple access to personal information and private pictures. but Facebook now claimes this glitch has been fixed. But another glitch must be out there, nothing is completely safe. Will you be a bit more careful while on the site, maybe a tad leary ?

My boyfriend hardly ever talks to me at school.. please help?
We've been going out for a little while now and been on a few dates. We cuddle a lot on the dates and hold hands and we have made out. We talk on AIM also. I don't have any classes with him at school, since we're in different grades (I'm in 10th, he's in 11th), but when I'm in the hall and I see him he never says hi or anything. Sometimes he'll look right at me and not say anything! He talked to me today after school for a little bit when he was sitting in a teacher's office and I walked by. But he never talks to me in the halls.. not even during break or lunch. Does anyone have any advice for me, or an explanation for why he acts this way?
Oh and almost everyone already knows about us too, since we have that we're in a relationship up on our facebooks.

well maybe he feels a bit weird knowing that he's in an actual relationship with someone that he really really likes. i mean my boyfriend friend and i go to different schools and we talk on the phone sometimes but we see each other a lot. just give him some time to let this "relationship" sink in a little and he will surely open up to you and talking to u more! I have a group of about 5 girls I've 'been best friends with, some since Kindergarten others since Elementary or Middle school.
The thing is, whenever I go out, or do anything, its always with them. I love them dearly but I wish i had new friends too.
I have no guy friends to hang out with either. I am 23 and where I work i never meet people my own age. I know i am too old to really do anything about that now but does anyone else ever feel jealous when you look at peoples myspaces or facebooks and theyre having such a good time with all kinds of people?
And for some reason, I'm not the kind of person that makes friends easily. I never know what anyone would se in me and why they would want to be my friend anyway.

I know that the pictures people put up are very convincing but alot of those friendships are fake! They are not really friends.After a while you feel pressure just to go out every friday night and remember to take pictures and the pressure to have fun and look like you are having fun.
Some people are real friends to eachother but not huge groups of people. A lot of that facebook and myspace stuff is superficial. It doesn't last and they won't be friends even 5- 10 yrs later. So try not to get jealous.
People are really self absorbed around 16-30 years old so I've been told. Everyone is to a point I guess. Some people come out of it faster than others. When people start to want real friendships then they will not be looking on facebook. They will turn to family and the real outside world. Don't feel like you are missing out if you aren't on facebook or myspace.
Get involved and make friends outside and maybe you'll get inside of facebook or myspace. But just remember that alot of it is fake. Invest in real friends and say screw it to people who are focused on the superficial things in life.

And no one says being jealous is wrong...healthy jealousy is fine and urges you to do better. Unhealthy jealousy is horrible and always brings the person down. You might never know what people might see in you because to yourself, you are very common and know yourself very well so you don't find anything special or new in yourself but who knows, others might think different! There might be someone in love with you but just isn't brave enough to tell you! Just be yourself!! Try to get along with guys...talk to them, smile...but some guys can be very nasty so watch out for such types! Happy New Year!
