Do people know when I've viewed their facebook profile?

So out of curiousity (I'm NOT stalking) I've checked out the facebooks of some people from school. Now they seem to give me strange looks when I see them. I don't have traksor or trackbot or any of those applications...do they know when I've looked at their profile?

Do people know when I've viewed their facebook profile?
nooo!!!
Reply:No,

It says right in the Facebook help files.

"Can people know you viewed their profile?

No."
Reply:Nope, Facebook won't allow it. You're probably just noticing these looks since it's that "guilty concious in the back of your head" kinda thing. :)

I thought the same thing after I saw people after looking at their Facebooks.
Reply:no they can't know, facebook doesn't have that application

just ask them what the problem is.

Don't worry, its not from facebook
Reply:no
Reply:Nope, there is no way anyone can know if you've been looking at their profiles. Even if you have one of those programs that claim it does that, they don't work.

And maybe they're giving you strange looks cause you're looking at THEM strangely...? Think about it.
Reply:No.
Reply:They do now.
Reply:Nope, that's impossible as of right now, since there are no applications that do anything like that.
Reply:No, they do not.

Facebook will show other people specific actions you have done primarily to writing on a wall of joining a network or group.

If you are just browsing around Facebook, they will not tell anyone where you are browsing, whether it is users or apps or groups or networks.

You can breathe easy!
