so theres this guy that ive liked for a while and we both have facebooks, and ive been messaging him and asking him what hes been doing and stuff, but he isnt responding back to me. im thinking that hes really shy and since we dont know each other that well, maybe he doesnt know what to talk to me about. what do you think i should do? should i try telling him about myself so he'll open up more?
How can i get a shy guy to talk?
If possible try and talk to him a few times in person so he can get a feeling of who you are. Most messages in Facebook or Myspace lack that certian human touch, emotion. If you like him then walk up to him and ask questions about him. Tell little stories about you childhood or past moments that you though were funny. just keep talking and if you run out of stuff to talk then ask questions and go from there.
Reply:as a guy myself, i would have to say that its most likely the guy isnt interested. If a guy was really interested, he wouldnt hesitate to respond to a message.
Reply:You're only guessing that he's shy. It may be that he's just not interested in you, for a whole host of possible reasons.
